Founder/CEO Nyomi embodies passion and care for the developmentally disabled with a clear focus on eclipsing businesses involving Real Estate strategies to create a life one can only hope to live in sunny California for families with disabled children and adults.
Nyomi, her business partners at Exquisite Legacy Llc and the staff at Mel’s House, a 24hour room and board and Adult Day Care facility located in Lancaster California are changing the conception about what loving inclusion means. Her clients live in an affordable updated facility with bright and modern decor, enjoy aqua sports at the home pool for recreation and health benefits, are taken on trips and excursions to interact with the community and develop social skills and are taught life skills to immerse themselves in a cloud of happiness.
Her main reason for this zeal is sparked by her own best friend and only child Melahny. Mel was born with Cerebral Palsy and Nyomi has faced challenges with providing care, a safe place to live that is equipped with all the check boxes a developmentally disabled person needs, recreational activities that include adequate help or group settings and time away from home to areas such as parks and beaches to foster good mental health. She has first hand knowledge that this is a problem and has solutions for this problem not only for herself but for many other families!
Nyomi has a natural propensity towards understanding the methods of business expansion since she has been a bookkeeper for 14 years. She understands the business of Caregiving since she has been a provider herself for almost thirty years. She will continue to work to establish Adult Day Cares and 24Hour Homes until enough of them are in many Cities in California and she can lend that hand of reassurance that reliability and consistency will be the image Exquisite Legacy LLc imparts.
